What I was trying to do: Purchase a Wacom Cintiq 22HD Touch Pen Display.

Cost/Goal: $2500.00 USD.

Benefits to my owning this device:

• It should allow me to produce the grOw/cOmics a quicker speed due to the natural drawing feel of the device.
• I also know that I seemed to get a better line quality when drawing on the Cintiq, which makes it easier to guide my hand visually as I normally do when I draw with pencil on paper.
• Help alleviate frequent "wrist-strain" from long hours of working on ther grOw/cOmics due to the "disconnect" using the current tablet. Strain comes from holding the pen tightly to get the curves I achieve on screen, as well as the unfortunate inability to "rotate" the drawing as I do paper.
• It should allow me to produce the grOw/cOmics more productively, with less chance of injury/strain (RSI).

Don't get me wrong — I TRULY APPRECIATE all the support my fans give me already by purchasing the grOw/cOmics and grOw/stOries. But your support is the only way I could pull it off, as this is a one-person operation (plus the proofreading skills of my wife) — drawing, writing*, layout, inking, coloring, website creation, billing, credit card set-up and fees, etc., etc. (*I have hired a few writers in the past to help with the grOw/stOries.) I couldn't pay the bills and spend so much time creating grOw without this support. Some have already asked me about donating further beyond the purchase price, but I've always declined in the past. But now, the current grOw income wouldn't cover this.

There is NO obligation, of course! Contribute only if you can/want to. I will continue to produce grOw — both cOmics and stOries — as best I can. But any contribution will help me and my work on grOw greatly!

 

You can contribute as much as you want. To do so, click "Add to Cart" in the green Contribution box above. You will be making a "purchase". Each "unit of contribution" is $1 USD. The minimum is $3. To make a higher contribution, just change the QUANTITY to an amount equal to the amount of dollars you want to contribute (see sample). A quantity of 7 is a $7 contribution, and so on.

The minimum contribution is $3.00 because of credit card and/or PayPal fees. At $1.00, the fees would have added up to about 40% of the contribution! Yikes! But at $3.00, this percentage is about 11%. As the amount goes up, the percentage of the contribution that goes to processing fees that I have to pay goes down. At $20, the fees I lose on individual contributions are about 3%.

Your contribution is a "tip" or "donation" to the artist. It is not tax deductable.

Yes! With your contribution in the amount of your choosing ($3 minimum), I will be providing you with the following:

1)   Your screen name will appear on the Donor's List (unless you choose "Anonymous" or write in a custom credit line) showing your support of my work (see tab#5 below).

2)   Each dollar of your donation will count towards the grOw-girl's growth. Plus, YOU get to choose where you want to apply the growth — to her boobs, butt/hips, or height! You will even be able to divide it. Higher contributions will also get BONUS "growth points" (see chart below). Basically, for every $1 you contribute, you will be able to add 1 unit of growth to the grOw-girl! One unit is equal to 3mm (or 0.118 inches, or slightly less than 1/8 inch). It may not sound like much, but when we reach our goal, we will have added at least 300 inches of growth — and it may be even more if we have higher contributors who get bonus points!

3)   Amounts of $10 or more will also receive a downloadable sketchbook PDF(s) (see chart below).

4)   You will also get my sincere gratitude for helping me achieve this goal, as well as the knowledge that the Cintiq will help me create grOw with better quality, quicker speeds, and less possible cause for repetitive-stress injury due to the enormous amount of work it involves!

Wait... do you have to show my screen name if I contribute? NO. It's your choice. When you contribute, you will have the option in the Cart to choose your "credit line" (Anonymous, your BA Studios screenname, or another name of your choosing).
